Privacy Policy

Information you provide directly: account details (name, email, phone), company details (legal name, business type, country, city, address, tax/registration numbers, website), authentication data (password hash, or a Google account identifier if you sign in with Google - we never receive or store your Google password), listings, RFQs, quotes, order and payment-declaration records, messages, ratings/reviews, and any documents you upload (e.g. company registration documents, proforma/commercial invoices).

Information collected automatically: pages viewed, search queries, click and drop-off events, referring page, and timestamps, together with your IP address, which we use to approximate your country and city for analytics and marketplace statistics (e.g. most active countries/cities, response-time benchmarks). We do not attempt to resolve your IP address to a precise street-level location.

System/security logs: application, error, order, authentication, and queue events are recorded in structured logs for operational and security purposes and are retained for 30 days before automatic deletion, except where a longer period is required to resolve an ongoing dispute, investigation, or legal obligation.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (e.g. health, biometric, or precise geolocation data) and ask that you do not submit such data through free-text fields (e.g. RFQ notes).

We use the information above to: operate and secure the Platform; create and manage your account and Company profile; facilitate RFQs, quotes, orders, and communications between Users; process VIP membership billing and service requests; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of the Terms of Service; produce aggregated market statistics and analytics (country/city activity, most requested or quoted products, top-rated suppliers, and similar insights) that do not identify you individually to other Users beyond what your profile or listing already discloses; comply with legal obligations; and communicate with you about your account, transactions, and - where you have not opted out - service updates.

With other Users: your Company's profile, listings, RFQs, quotes, ratings, and relevant order details are visible to other registered Users as necessary for the Platform to function as a marketplace. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

With service providers acting on our behalf, under confidentiality and data-processing terms, including: Cloudflare (content delivery and security/CDN), our email delivery infrastructure (for transactional and account email), and our hosting provider. These providers process data only as needed to provide their service to us.

For legal reasons: where required to comply with law, respond to a lawful request from a public authority, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of the Platform, our Users, or the public.

In a business transfer: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy (or a policy at least as protective) continuing to apply.

We use strictly necessary cookies/session identifiers to keep you signed in and to protect the Platform (e.g. rate-limiting, fraud prevention), and may use a small number of functional cookies to remember your preferences (e.g. selected category, language). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Where analytics cookies beyond strictly necessary ones are introduced in the future, we will update this Policy and request consent where required by law.

We retain account, Company, listing, order, and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, and fraud-prevention needs. Structured operational/security logs are retained for 30 days (see Section 1). You may request deletion of your account as described in Section 7, subject to the retention exceptions in this section.

As a global B2B marketplace, information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including countries that may have different data protection laws than your home country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

Depending on your country of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Some information may be retained where we have a legitimate legal or business need to do so (e.g. an unresolved order dispute or an unpaid fee).

We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold, including hashed passwords, access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and firewalling. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Platform is intended for business use by adults acting on behalf of a company and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, individuals under the age of 18.

We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be identified by a new version number and effective date, and - where they materially affect how we use your data - we will provide notice and, if required by law, seek your renewed consent before the change takes effect.
